We, ๐ต๐๐๐๐ โ๐๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ก๐ข๐๐ ๐ด๐๐, are an emerging coalition of community organizers, grassroots networks, local non-profit leadership, local business owners, political and health care system contacts, funders and volunteers working together to stage a ๐๐๐๐ and coordinated citizen led response, with the most vulnerable being our ๐ก๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ก๐ฆ ๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐ฉ๐ฎ.
At this point we do not have a 501(c)3 designation, as efforts have been focused on real time support during the COVID-19 crisis.
However we believe in transparency and commit to using your contributions towards serving the most vulnerable members of our community. All funds will be used to maximize the efforts of both the Berkshire Mutual Aid and South Berkshire Disability Rights Working Group .
Please consider making a personal gift today, so we can continue to provide critical collaboration and direct services in our region, where impact matters most.
Your gift might be used to purchase items for donation distribution sites (toilet paper, tooth brushes, thermometers, batteries, or other items), to gift cards to ensure food security in crisis to vulnerable populations, gas stipend to volunteers who are running errands on behave of immunocompromised or disabled folx, or much needed administrative items like tape, zip lock bags, sanitizer, ink for printers, paper and beyond.
We promise to use the funds for community impact and are committed to being as transparent as possible with our needs.confidence that whatever need that comes up will be met during this crisis. Needs include, but are certainly not limited to, food, toiletries, batteries, thermometers, gift cards, etc. Needs also include support supplies like gas stipends for volunteers running errands for those who are immunocompromised or disabled.
The most useful way to help is to fund our efforts. We are well-connected, experienced helpers who know how, when and who to help. We need funds to funnel help in the most effective, safe way. Our connections allow us to fill the need where it exists. We need financial support to do this. All funds will be used to maximize the efforts of both the Berkshire Mutual Aid and South County Disability Rights Working Group .
Please consider making a personal gift today, so we can continue to provide critical collaboration and direct services in our region, where impact matters most.
